Install Kaizendex on your computer and your phone. Every app signs into the same account and syncs the same data as the web app — your stuff is everywhere you are.

The apps work, and your data is safe in your account whichever one you use. Being version one, you may still meet a small bug here and there — tell us when you do, and it gets fixed.

Read and edit your Kaizendex data from a terminal, or connect it to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor so your coding agent can.

Installing on macOS

  1. 1Click “Download for macOS”. The .dmg saves to your Mac.
  2. 2Open it and drag Kaizendex into Applications.
  3. 3On first open, macOS may say the app “is damaged” or “can’t be verified”. This early build is not Apple-notarized yet — that is all the warning means. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click “Open Anyway”.
  4. 4No “Open Anyway” button? Run this one line in Terminal, then open the app normally: xattr -cr /Applications/Kaizendex.app
  5. 5Sign in — same account as the web app. That’s the last install you’ll do: new versions download in the background and a “Relaunch to update” button appears when one is ready.

  2. 2Run it. Windows SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC” — click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. (This early build is not code-signed yet; that is all the warning means.)
  3. 3Sign in — same account as the web app.
  4. 4That’s the last install you’ll do: new versions download in the background and a “Relaunch to update” button appears when one is ready.

These are early builds installed directly (not through an app store), so each OS shows its own “unknown developer” style warning once — that’s expected, and it says nothing about the app. Your data lives in your account, not on the device.

No app store doesn’t mean no updates. The desktop app downloads new versions in the background and shows a small “Relaunch to update” button when one is ready — one click and you’re current. Come back here only when we tell you a fresh install is needed, which is rare.
