Saving links

Drop any link in chat — X posts, YouTube videos, Reddit threads, articles — and browse them as a visual board.

Found something worth keeping — an X post, a YouTube video, a Reddit thread, an article? Paste the link into any AI chat and ask to save it. Kaizendex turns it into a normal Entry: titled, tagged, and with a preview image, ready to browse in a Mosaic view like a personal Pinterest board.

Save a link

  1. Copy the link and paste it into a chat.
  2. Say what you want — "save this", "add this to my Interesting posts", or just paste it on its own and confirm.
  3. The AI fetches the title and preview, files it into your links Collection, and picks a couple of Topics tags for you.

That's it — the Entry appears instantly. If you don't have a links Collection yet, the AI creates one for you with everything set up: a URL property, a Photo for the preview, and Source / Topics tags.

Browse your saved links

Open your links Collection and switch to the Mosaic view (see Views) for the visual board: every saved link as a card with its preview image. Videos and posts carry a small play badge. Filter by Source (YouTube, X, Reddit, Article) or by your Topics tags to find things again.

Watch and read without leaving

Click a card to open the Entry. If the link is playable — a YouTube video or an X post — the top of the page becomes the player: press play and watch right there. X posts render in full, text and media. The original is always one click away via the URL property.

What gets saved

Kaizendex saves the link plus a lightweight preview — title, thumbnail, the post's text — not the media itself. Videos and images stay on YouTube/X/Reddit and stream from there, so saved links use essentially none of your storage (see Storage).

A few platforms guard their previews: Instagram and Facebook links usually save with just a title and site icon. The link, your tags, and your notes still work — there's just no pretty picture.
