Links, videos & bookmarks

Paste a link into a note and choose what it becomes — a tidy clickable link, a rich bookmark card, or an embedded video. YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify and Loom play right inside your note, just like in Notion.

Anywhere you see the block editor — a Page, a journal entry, a note body — you can paste a web link and turn it into exactly what you want.

Paste a link

Paste a URL onto an empty line and a little menu pops up:

| Choose | …and you get | | --- | --- | | Create embed | The content plays inside your note (for YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Loom) | | Create bookmark | A rich preview card — title, description, site icon and thumbnail | | Dismiss | A plain, clickable link (this is also what you get if you keep typing) |

Paste a link into the middle of a sentence — or onto text you've selected — and it just becomes a normal link, no menu. (If you've used Notion, this will feel familiar.)

Embed a video

Paste a YouTube link — a normal video or a Short — and pick Create embed to play it right where you're writing. The same works for Vimeo, Spotify and Loom. Every form of YouTube link works (youtube.com/watch, youtu.be/…, /shorts/…).

Other sites — including X/Twitter, Instagram and TikTok — become a bookmark card instead, since they don't allow playing inside other apps.

Bookmark a page

Create bookmark turns a link into a preview card with the page's title, description, icon and image, fetched for you. It's a clean way to save an article or reference in a note. Click the card to open it.

Clicking links

A single click on any link opens it in a new tab (or your default browser in the desktop app). To change a link's text or address, hover over it and use the small link toolbar.

You can set the colour of links to match your theme in Settings → Appearance (look for Link under the theme colours).
