Give your AI a morning routine
Your own morning skill, run by your agent every day at the time you pick, with the result waiting in your chat.
You will write a skill in your own words, then have your agent run it every morning. You decide what it checks.
Check what your AI knows about you
Open AI from the sidebar's rail and pick Facts. Here is what your AI uses to tailor its help.
- Under Awaiting your approval, tap Approve on the facts that are right and Dismiss on the rest.
- Edit any active fact that is out of date.
Want a different voice in the morning? Rewrite the agent's personality under Soul. More in What your AI remembers.
Write your morning skill
Pick Skills, then tap New skill. Fill in three fields:
- Name, for example "Morning brief".
- Description: one line. Your AI sees it in every chat, so say when to use it.
- Instructions: the full detail. Say which of your collections to look at, which numbers to report, and how short the reply should be.
Save it. A new skill is on by default. See Teaching your AI skills.
Try it once in chat
Open a chat with the agent you want to hear from. Ask it to run your Morning brief now.
Numbers in the reply come from exact totals over all your matching entries, not guesses. See Asking the AI about your numbers.
Not right? Tap Edit on the skill and change the wording. Every version is kept.
Put it on a schedule
In the same chat, ask: "Every day at 7:00, run my Morning brief skill." The agent confirms the task. You can also pick Weekly on specific days, or an interval.
Times are in your own timezone. The task appears on the Automations page with a Scheduled badge and its last run. See Scheduled agent tasks.
Get the message on your phone
Each run lands as a message in that agent's chat, and the Inbox icon shows a badge.
To get it with the app closed, open Settings, choose Notifications, and tap Enable push notifications. Do this on each device. See Notifications.
Keep it quiet and tidy
Add a line to the instructions like "only message me if something needs doing". On days with nothing to report, the run stays silent: no message, no notification.
To pause the routine, untick its On checkbox on the Automations page. A run that takes too long can be stopped with Stop run from the row's menu.
